The Arlington office of Virginia Cooperative Extension, with the support of Master Gardeners of Northern Virginia, will present a three-hour workshop covering everything beginners need to know to raise their own vegetables either at home or in a community garden. Topics to be discussed include starting seeds indoors, soil preparation, and when and where to plant. Question and answer period will follow.
