Get practical, ecologically savvy advice to improve your soil, conserve water and energy, and select the right plants and materials to create a beautiful garden at home that also protects our environment at large. In this six-part series lead by Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners and local experts, each session builds awareness of VCE’s science-based research and the US Botanic Garden’s Landscape for Life™ sustainability principles, all in the context of our local conditions and resources. Participants will develop a plan to improve the sustainability of their own yards. $75 for all six in-depth workshops. Class size is limited to 20 households. Register by contacting the VCE Master Gardener Help Desk (703-228-6414 or firstname.lastname@example.org) before December 31.
