Feb. 16th, 17th: Workshop on Winter Pruning of Trees and Shrubs

Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners will present a free workshop on the basics of pruning winter trees and shrubs.  The workshop will cover when to prune and how to use pruning tools to make the cuts, reduce size and shape and correct defects.  Hands-on experience provided.   Bring your own pruning tools (hand pruners, lopping shears, pruning saws), if available and dress warmly for outside work.
