This month, EMGs will highlight Summer Blooms. The mission of the Glencarlyn Library Community Garden is to provide resources for Arlington residents to learn how to create gardens in both the suburban and urban landscape.

Arlington County Fair–Small County, Big Fun!

2018 Arlington County Fair LogoMeet us at the 2018 County Fair for rides, food, fun, PLUS the Extension Master Gardener booth and Competitive Exhibits ranging from baked goods to homegrown veggies to artwork. The height of the growing season means opportunities to capture summer flavors with quick pickles & sauces! Local gardeners share their favorites recipes.

August 22: Cover Crops for Healthy Soil.
Sow cover crops to add nutrients & structure to your soil during the winter months.
