    Instagram post 2199389311362489232_5444158975 Indian Grass is attractive as a vertical accent when paired with short, airy Purple Love Grass (Eragrostis spectabilis) in a natural meadow setting. It can also be effective when massed on slopes for erosion control.

    Instagram post 2198664707638876213_5444158975 In late summer, Indian Grass produces showy plume-like panicles up to 14 inches long atop stiff, vertical flowering stems. The plant prospers in sunny sites and tolerates drought and seasonal flooding, making it appropriate for both water-wise landscapes and rain gardens, as well as meadows and the back beds of cottage gardens.
