August 2018 Public Education Programs include: Common Landscape Pests and Diseases of Trees in Landscapes, Summer Blooms in the Garden, Plant Diseases and Pests in Vegetable Gardens and 2 sessions of Fall and Winter Vegetable Gardening.

Special Events include the Simpson Gardens Tuesday Stroll, Wednesday Central Library Garden Talks with AFAC and the Extension Master Gardener booth and Competitive Exhibits at the Arlington County Fair.
