Anthers_dehiscing_Hemerocallis_’Lake_Norman_Winter’_June_MMF

These anthers of Hemerocallis ‘Lake Norman Winter,’ a daylily cultivar, are in various stages of dehiscence. They present their pollen introrsely (toward the center of the flower) starting at their tips and moving toward the middle portion, which opens last.
