Simpson Gardens Tuesday Strolls

Come to our monthly garden strolls at Simpson Demonstration Gardens. On the second Tuesday of each month of the growing season, 10 – 11:00 a.m., the Extension Master Gardener volunteers will be in the gardens to answer questions and provide information on sustainable gardening. Continue reading

Stop by the Simpson Gardens 25th Anniversary Open House and see . . .

This video, filmed at Alexandria’s Simpson Gardens in early October by certified Master Gardener Mary Free, shows monarch butterflies foraging on asters, including native Symphyotrichum novae-angliae.
