Composting is an important way to teach children about the life cycle: life, death, decay, and re-birth. Kids are invited to learn about composting and how composting helps care for our own communities and the natural environment, Sunday, July 31, at 10:30. Extension Master Gardeners Anne Reed and Debbie Keefe will help kids create their own jar of compost to take home. For children ages 5-10. Due to space limitations, participants are limited to 15 kids – first come, first served.
