Economically, exotic invasives cost the United States over $120 billion annually (Pimentel et al. 2005). Exotic invasives come in all shapes, sizes, and kingdoms. Virginia has over 90 species of exotic invasive plants. “Right Plant, Right Place” is an easy guide for homeowners to remember when planting.
