Not ready to give up on vegetable gardening by August? Did spring get away from you? Make time for vegetable gardening this fall! Participants in this workshop will learn
how just a few minutes of work in late summer will provide rewards
in September, October, and even November.

The workshop will cover:
 extending the gardening season with easy, nutritious fall-harvested crops
 choosing late-season vegetables, such as broccoli, cabbage, bok choi, carrots,
lettuce, and spinach
 winterizing a garden and preparing garden tools for winter storage
 benefits of cover crops.
