2012 – Wed, Oct 3rd: Extending the Season with Cold Frames

Arlington Central Library Courtyard
1015 N. Quincy St., Arlington, VA 22201
7-8 pm

The approach of cool weather doesn’t have to mean the end of home-grown produce. Autumn is a great time to plant cool-weather crops, such as lettuce, kale, radishes, and broccoli, especially so if they can be protected from harsh winds and evening chills in a simple, easy-to-build cold frame.

The workshop is free and open to the public.
Registration is not required.
