Hello everyone. Just a short bit about myself. My name is KJ, but some close friends/ family call me Ken or Kenny. I’m a native of our nation’s capital city, Washington, D.C. and currently live in a small town in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of northern Virginia where I currently live with my partner, and our 3 wonderful cats. City boy gone country! I spent most of my life growing up and living in Washington, but finally decided to move out to a more spacious, open, and rural setting. I will always love the city, and my home city of Washington D.C. though. I have always had a love for, and ties to the country, and have finally decided to live in it, all be it not too far from the bright lights of the big city.

Some of the things I thoroughly enjoy are: A good glass of wine or a good beer, great friends, nature, gardening, plants, outdoors, hiking, biking, tubing, kayaking, music, computers, movies, travel, history, antiques, animals, the country, mountains,…… I could go on but that’s enough for now. 😉
