Cicada_depositing_eggs_w:_ovipositor_shaft_in_Abelia_branch_May26.21_MMF

This Brood X cicada has inserted her ovipositor shaft into the slit it cut in the
Abelia branch. She pulses her abdomen (depicted by the little bump)
to push her eggs through the ovipositor into the slit on May 26, 2021.
