One of the best ways to learn about vegetable gardening is to see long established gardens in action. Make time this year to visit the Organic Vegetable Garden in north Arlington at Potomac Overlook Regional Park, one of the eight demonstration gardens operated by MGNV.

This year, the Organic Vegetable Garden is offering Saturday Talks beginning in April. Drop by to learn more about growing organic vegetables and to enjoy visiting the garden and learning from our experienced Extension Master Gardeners. It is a great opportunity to get your vegetable gardening questions answered as well.

2025 Wednesday Garden Talks

FOUA’s popular Garden Talks at Central Library are back for 2025! We’ll get started on Wednesday, April 2 with Plan it Right! Seed, Seedlings, & More in the Bluemont Room, 2nd floor. Then on April 16 get ready for the always popular Tomato Love 🍅 in the Quincy Room, 1st Floor. Talks will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
2025 Garden Talks run through October. Garden Talks are FREE, no registration required.
