Arlington Acre Project Complete

As part of an annual campaign to engage Arlington residents in regenerative agriculture, over 600 packets of cover crop seed mix were distributed in 2024. With 300 packets of “warm season mix” handed out at the Arlington County Fair and another 300 this Urban Agriculture Month it totaled MORE than needed to meet the goal of planting one square acre of land in Arlington!
It’s not too late to get involved and plant. Packets are still being distributed through Plot Against Hunger, Arlington County Community Gardens, and Master Gardener networks. You can stop by our friends at the MGNV Office at the Fairlington Community Center M-F 9:00AM-5:00PM and get your packet today!
Follow us social, share YOUR piece of this year’s #arlingtonacre!
