We invite you to bi-weekly Garden Talks at Arlington Central Library, 1015 N. Quincy Street
Free, no registration required

6:30 p.m. – outside next to garden (surface parking)
- July 30 – Bonus Talk! Join us for Blue Ribbon Gardens – County Fair Rules this Wednesday evening to learn about the fair’s competitive exhibits and how to enter your veggies, flowers, crafts, or food creations.
- Aug 6 – No Session – Arlington County Fair Aug 13-17
- Aug 20 – Cover Crops for Healthy Soil – Cover crops protect, nurture and add structure to your soil. Learn the what, when and how of using cover crops to bring your garden to a whole new level.
The Master Gardener Plant Clinic at Central Library also runs on Wednesdays, 6:15 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.

Visit FOUA at the Arlington County Fair
Join FOUA for an Endless Summer from August 15-17 at the Arlington County Fair! Stop by the indoor exhibit area and visit our booth to learn more about FOUA’s efforts in urban agriculture throughout Arlington communities. Plus, you can sign up to volunteer in a garden, count the cowpeas, and share your thoughts on the future of our urban nature. The fair is complete with rides, food vendors, exhibits, and more, so come on out to support FOUA and other Arlington organizations!

One of the best ways to learn about vegetable gardening is to see long established gardens in action. Make time this year to visit the Organic Vegetable Garden in north Arlington at Potomac Overlook Regional Park, one of the nine demonstration gardens operated by MGNV.

Join us at the Organic Vegetable Garden (OVG) for our Summer Series including a short talk and your opportunity for one-on-one discussions with Extension Master Gardeners on topics of interest to vegetable gardeners! Dress for the weather and don’t forget some water. Talks will be canceled for rain. Free.
