When a flower clusters with friends, a Pedicel supports its end. When flowers cluster together, a Peduncle's at the nether; or when a flower stands alone, Peduncle also finds a home. But, if it's a leaf and its blade, with Petiole, stem contact's made. Flowers and leaves too are special, when without stalks, they're called Sessile. - Mary Free -
