Organic Vegetable Garden, October 4th
As we make our way into fall, our garden still thinks it is summer, as is evidenced by the bounty of warm season crops we harvested today. Plenty of tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, squash, okra, beans, and malabar spinach were delivered to the Arlington Food Assistance Center.
We are also planting for fall and before the first frost will be erecting cold frames so that we can extend the growing season for our greens into the winter. If you are looking for a beautiful place to walk this fall please come by Potomac Overlook Park. You can see the fall color and visit our garden.
