How to Safely and Effectively Control Weeds

We have switched to a new registration procedure. You will register directly via Zoom and will receive the confirmation with the Zoom link right away.

Class Description

Join Extension Master Gardener Joyce Hylton as she discusses some of the most common weeds in our area that flourish year-round. While a weed may be just a wildflower in the wrong place, learn why they may like your lawn and garden and how you can safely and effectively control them. Joyce Hylton teaches sustainable landscaping best practices to the public.


After you register,

  • You will receive an immediate email Zoom confirmation with the link to the class and some registration questions.
    PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL FOR REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION
    make sure to check your SPAM folder.
  • You will receive a reminder confirmation with resource materials the day before the class. This may cause you to have to re-register when you sign into the class.
  • Please add events@mgnv.org and webmaster@mgnv.org to your address book, so that emails from MGNV do not go into your spam or junk folder.

Registration now stays open until the end of the meeting.
